Congratulations to our ICAS stars of 2012! 4 students have been commended for their academic performance in International Competitions and Assessment for Schools (ICAS) this year, developed by EAA (Educational Assessment Australia) and were awarded Participation Certificates for their achievements and effort.
The students undertook tests in English and maths. The tests are challenging and stimulating yet achievable and very rewaring. "Students' skills and knowledge are tested in core learning areas and provide insight into students understanding. The skills and understandings tested are important indicators of sucess in school and beyond", said Nick Connelly from UNSWGlobal "I would like to recognise the participation of students from Huskisson Primary School with certificates and congratulate them on their efforts and achievements."
The P & C also received a Certificate of Appreciation from UNSW Global. Our P & C facilitated and encouraged the students to participate and gave their support throughout.
